Ferdy Goode is of a very small guild of Master birchbark canoe builders and basket makers who keep alive the almost extinct traditional methods of handcrafting these vessels. Ferdy has also gained a national reputation as the builder of exquisite Native style snowshoes. Goode accurately continues Native American techniques by patterning his work after tribal designs.
